The Henryetta junior football program will close out their regular-season schedule this Saturday at home against the Inola Longhorns.

The regular-season finale will get started with the first and second grade contest at 4:30 p.m. at historic Cameron Field.

The third and fourth grade game will follow at 6 p.m., while the fifth and sixth grade showdown will conclude the 3-game home meeting with Inola at 7:30 p.m.

Henryetta will have two representatives in the Central Football League playoffs this Tuesday, as the third-fourth grade and fifth-sixth grade teams are sitting in fourth in their respective standings with 4-3 records.

The fifth-sixth grade Henryetta gridiron squad will be the fourth seed in this Tuesday's playoff opener, despite the outcome of Saturday's regular-season finale against Inola. Beggs (7-0), Kellyville (6-1), and Rejoice Christian (6-1) hold the top three seeds in the league standings. Sitting below the Knights are NOAH in fifth with a 3-4 record and Victory Christian in sixth with a 2-5 record. Liberty is seventh at 2-6, followed by Inola and Morris tied for eighth at 1-6.

The third-fourth grade Henryetta squad is currently tied for fourth in their division with Kellyville at 4-3 with the Knights holding the tiebreaker over the Ponies following their Week 2 win. The Henryetta team could find itself as high as third in the standings after Saturday with a win over Inola and losses by Beggs and Morris to Kellyville and NOAH, respectively, making it a 4-way tie for second and the tiebreaker would be decided by league points. Beggs currently has 29 league points, followed by Morris with 16, Henryetta six, and Kellyville two.

The first-second grade Lil Knights will miss out on the postseason in 2018 with a 1-6 record. The Henryetta squad will look to close out the season on a winning note with a regular-season finale win over the visiting Longhorns.

As for the playoff format in the Central Football League, the top seed in each division will be the host site for the first round and semifinals on Tuesday and next Saturday, respectively, while the championship games will take place November 10 at Victory Christian High School.

The top two seeds in each division will earn byes in the opening round of the playoffs and will advance to next Saturday's semifinal round.

Tuesday's opening-round playoff games will be held at 6:30 and 8 p.m. and will feature the third seed in each division taking on the sixth seed and the fourth seed in each division battling the fifth seed.

The winners will advance to next Saturday's semifinal round with the third-vs-sixth seed winner taking on the second seed in each division and the fourth-vs-fifth seed winner squaring off against the top seed in each division.

The league championship games November 10 will have start times as follows:

• 1/2 Grade: 4 p.m.

• 3/4 Grade: 5:45 p.m.

• 5/6 Grade: 7:30 p.m.

The first-second grade playoff site will be either Morris High School or at NOAH's home field in Tulsa, depending on the winner of this Saturday's regular-season finale battle between the Eagles and Jaguars in Morris.

The third-fourth grade playoff site will be Liberty (Mounds) High School, as the Tigers recorded a spotless 8-0 league record this season.

The fifth-sixth grade playoff openers will be either Beggs, Kellyville, or Rejoice Christian, depending on outcomes between Beggs and Kellyville in Beggs and Rejoice Christian and Victory Christian at Rejoice Christian.
