The Town of Dewar will be having their annual Dewar Harvest Festival from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Sat., Oct. 6 on Broadway Street. For more information call 918-652-4042.

Grayson Gumbo File Festival

The town of Grayson will be having their Gumbo and Line Festival from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Sat., Oct. 6. For more information contact Leon Anderson at 918-906-6299.

St. Michael Spaghetti Dinner

St. Michael Catholic Church will be having their annual Fall Spaghetti Dinner from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Sat., Oct. 6. Dinner will include spaghetti with one large meat ball, salad, garlic bread, dessert, and a drink. Additional meatballs will be extra. Delivery is available in town. For delivery orders call the day of the event at 918-652-3445.

OCCRA Race at HOTT

The Oklahoma Cross Country Racing Association (OCCRA) will be racing at the Henryetta Off-road Track and Trail (HOTT) Saturday, Oct. 6, and Sunday, Oct. 7, located at Historic Nichols Park.

Evan Don Brankel at New Life

Evan Don Brnakel will be at New Life Church, located at 1201 S. C St., Sunday morning at 10:45 a.m. and evening at 6 p.m., Oct. 7. Everyone is invited to come.

Fall Variety Show

Henryetta Elementary Music Program will be having their Fall Variety Show on Tuesday, Oct. 9, at 9:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., in the High School Auditorium.

Oct. 11

NARFE to Meet

The National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association (NARFE) Chapter 0730 will meet at the Shack Restaurant at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 11. The program this month is an update of the upcoming Federal Employees and Retirees Health Plans. Kerin Barngrover (Senior Government Account Representative) for Blue Cross/Blue Shields of Oklahoma and Schann Halladay (Aetna Representative) for Aetna Direct which is a federal Health Plan geared specifically with federal retirees in mind. Open Season for insurance changes is Nov. 12 to Dec.

Beggs First Assembly of God, located at 400 East Main in Beggs, will be having an Indian Taco Dinner from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Friday, Oct.

The next Henryetta Cruise Knight is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Sat. Oct. 13, on Main St. Bring the whole family out for a night of fun.

Henryetta Arts and Crafts Fall Bazaar

There will be a Henryetta Arts and Crafts Fall Bazaar from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Sat., Oct. 20, at the First Baptist Church Gymnasium, located at 420 W. Trudgeon. If you would like to be a vendor at the event contact Denise Frost at 918-629-0004.

Blue Goose Day

Celebrate your National Wildlife Refuge at Blue Goose Day from 9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. Sat., Oct. 20, at Deep Fork National Wildlife Refuge. Free and fun for the whole family. Fishing Clinic for ages 0-16. A 3-D archery range will be set up. All equipment will be provided or you can bring your own. Create animal tracks and build bluebird boxes. Participate in the scavenger hunt to win prizes. The Friends of the Deep Fork will be providing lunch. Located at the Montezuma Creek Fishing Area (21680 Hwy 75 Okmulgee, OK 74447). Main Street Trick or Treat

Henryetta Chamber will be holding their Main Street Trick or Treat from 3:30 p.m. – 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31. Bring all you ghosts and goblins to gather their goodies from 3rd St. to 9th St.

Dewar First Baptist Fall Festival

Dewar First Baptist Church will be having their Fall Festival Trunk or Treat on Wednesday, Oct. 31.

Nov. 8

Dripping Springs Rendezvous

Okmulgee Dripping Springs Lake will host an event sponsored by the Indian Territory Rendezvous Club from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Thurs. through Sat., Nov. 8-10. The event will include reenactors of men and women from the Fur Trade Era, archery, shooting, fire making, tomahawk and knife throwing, and more. For more information call 918-752-4135.

PC Memories

PC Memories is a non-profit corporation that has 25 FREE refurbished desktop computers to give out in July to low income families, adults, veterans, and seniors, in Okmulgee County. Applications for assistance can be picked up at the Henryetta Public Library and Okmulgee Public Library. Deadline to receive post marked applications is June 30. Al-anon Meetings

Al-anon Family Support Group will meet at 7 p.m., every Tues., at the First Christian Church located at 5th and Cummings.

Monthly VFW Meeting

The Henryetta VFW Post 539 will have a meeting the 1st Tues. of every month. All veterans are encouraged to attend. For more information contact Bill Goodner at 918-652-7103.

Weight Watchers

Weight Watchers meetings are Thurs. evenings with the check in starting at 5:30 p.m. and meetings starting at 6 p.m. at the Tulledega Hills Baptist Church, 3000 W Main.

Lost and Found NA

A non-smoking NA meeting is now available four days each week at the First Christian Church, Okmulgee, on the corner of 8th and Seminole Streets. Meetings will be at 7 p.m. on Mon., Thurs., and Fri. and at 2 p.m. on Sat. Entry is around the back and down the stairs.

Hoffman Fellowship

Hoffman Fellowship is a smoke-free, alcohol-free, and family oriented event. The center is now open on Sat. at 5 p.m. For more information, call Ruby at 918-652-8440.

American Legion Post 85

Monthly meetings for members of the American Legion Post 85 are the first Monday of each month at 7 p.m. Membership is open to all eligible veterans. The American Legion is located at 601 E. Frisco Ave, Henryetta. For information call 918-652-9421.

Serenity Club AA

A non-smoking AA meeting is now available four days each week at the First Presbyterian Church, Okmulgee, on the corner of 9th and Seminole Street.
