Your local public library is sponsoring a program that we think several of you might be interested in. World War I is in its 100 years remembrance (1914-1918 / 2014-2018), and we have secured an hour program with one of Oklahoma’s premier story tellers called “The Story of World War One”. John Hinkle will be presenting this program on Monday, November 5th at 7 p.m. at the Henryetta Civic Center. He has a 7’ screen and shows 4 to 6 slides per minute. He also has posters, book jackets, sheet music and models to display. John will be in WWI full dress uniform. Because of the honesty of the subject matter presented, and the brutality of WWI, this program is not appropriate for students below middle school.
