Henryetta FFA Cattle Grading Teams have been really busy over the past few weeks with various competitions.
Early this month, Junior Cattle Grading Team members Austin Palmer, Lottie Johnson, Maddox Lackey and Chance Skocdopole placed 3rd Overall at the Connors State Cattle Grading Competition.
On Sept. 17, Senior Cattle Grading Team members Ethan Palmer, James Martin, Joey Watson and Ryan Clark took 2nd Place Overall at the South Coffeyville Cattle Grading Competition.
Out of 138 other contestants, Ethan Palmer placed 5th Overall.
“The kids have been working extremely hard, preparing for the state cattle grading competition that will be held at the Tulsa State Fair on Oct. 2,” Cody Dawson, Henryetta FFA Advisor, said.
