Okmulgee Chamber of Commerce’s September luncheon will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 26 in the OSUIT Student Union meeting room at noon, Chamber Executive Director Kay Rabbitt-Brower said.
Oklahoma Works representatives Belinda Wall and Wendi Mendenhall will visit with those attending and provide information on how their company can benefit area businesses with information, support and business services offered.
An initiative designed to increase the wealth of all Oklahomans through providing quality employment for work, Oklahoma Works also aids with ready availability of highly-skilled talent for business and industry.
“Oklahoma Works helps meet such employer needs as recruitment assessment, pre-employment assessment, job orders, special recruitment efforts, how to plan and execute effective job fairs and more. There is a new emphasis within the organization on providing more assistance to employers. We are eager to share how businesses can benefit,” Wall said.
Rabbitt-Brower encourages everyone who plans to attend to be there early to enjoy lunch items offered in OSUIT’s Cowboy Cafe in the Student Union.
