Five Little League baseball teams from Okmulgee County will compete in three separate OK Kids regional tournaments this week.

Three of those county teams competing in regional tournament play this week will battle eight other teams in the 2018 OK Kids Coach Pitch Regional Tournament at the Jim Waller Sports Complex in Preston. The three county teams competing at the No. 6 regional tournament in Preston include the Henryetta Lollygaggers, Henryetta Warriors, and Preston (Oklahoma) Baseball.

The other two county teams competing in regional tournament play this week are the Henryetta Roughnecks and the Dewar Dragons.

The Roughnecks are in Chandler this week, battling eight other teams in the 2018 OK Kids Peewee Regional No. 6 Tournament, while the Dragons are in Durant this week, battling five other teams in the 2018 OK Kids Midget Regional No. 6 Tournament.

The other eight teams in the Coach Pitch regional tournament in Preston include the Ada Savages, Allen Mustangs, Bristow Crew, Caddo Bruins, Checotah Hitmen, McAlester Arsenal, Porum Giants, and Prague Bandits.

The other eight teams battling the Henryetta Roughnecks in the Peewee regional tournament in Chandler include the Sulphur Bulldogs, Muskogee Redhawks, McAlester Royals, Stonewall Longhorns, Navajo Indians, Cushing Tigers #1, Washington Chiefs, and Chandler Lions.

The other five teams battling the Dewar Dragons in the Midget regional tournament in Durant include the McAlester Buffaloes, Bristow Drillers, Wister Wildcats, Caddo Bruins, and Caney Cougars.

The champion and runner-up at the Coach Pitch regional tournament will advance to next week's state tournament in Clinton, while the champions in the Peewee and Midget regional tournaments will be the only teams to advance to next weeks state tournaments in Weatherford and Sallisaw, respectively.

Along with these five county teams competing this week at three separate regional tournaments, there were four Okmulgee County Little League teams that competed in four of the seven Boys T-Ball regional tournaments this past weekend (June 28-30).

The Henryetta Lil' Knights were part of the 5-team Regional 2 bracket in Chandler. The Henryetta Chaos were part of the 5-team Regional 3 bracket in Prague. The Henryetta Tornadoes were part of the 5-team Regional 2 bracket in Atoka. The Morris War Ducks were part of the 6-team Regional 7 bracket in Stigler.

All four county squads scratched and clawed in their separate regional tournaments, but were unable to be one of the final two teams in their respective regional brackets to have their 2018 season come to a close.

Below are the teams that finished either first or second in each of the seven T-Ball regional tournaments last weekend.

• Regional 1: Blanchard Blitz and Lindsey Hitmen

• Regional 2: Bethel Smokies and Tuttle Rangers

• Regional 3: Lexington Bulldogs and Sayre Fireballs

• Regional 4: Ada Navy Seals and Elgin Graphite

• Regional 5: Latta Panthers and Tupelo Tigers

• Regional 6: Vian Outlaws and Muskogee Cardinals

• Regional 7: Porum Panthers and Stigler Bullets

• Sallisaw Bombers and Sallisaw Cowboys earned automatic berths in the state tournament to complete the 16-team field. Below are the complete tournament brackets for the OK Kids regional tournaments involving Okmulgee County teams in Coach Pitch, Peewee, and Midget baseball. ---
