Phyllis Jean Corbin
Funeral services for Phyllis Jean Corbin, 80, resident of Dewar, were at 2 p.m. Monday, April 15, at Dewar First Baptist Church where Rev. Ryan Wells officiated. Interment followed in Paden Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service. Visitation was from 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. Sunday, April 14, and was from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. Monday, April 15, at Integrity Funeral Service. Mrs. Corbin was born Nov. 28, 1938, in Okmulgee County to the late Jack Morgeson and Jessie (Gonderman) Morgeson. She died Thursday, April 11, in Henryetta. She married the love of her life, Glynn D. Corbin, in 1955. Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Glynn Corbin of the home; two daughters, Glenda Conn and husband Mark of Bartlesville and Patricia Annette Paden and husband Phil of Hoffman; one son, Donnie Corbin and wife Annette of Henryetta; 11 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren; as well as a host of friends and other relatives. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Pittman and Jackie Watson. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Heath Corbin, Donnie Corbin, David Corbin, John Mark Conn, Timothy Rose, Aaron Rose, Phillip Paden, and William Paden.
