Funeral services for Jimmie Joyce (Bowling) Broadbent, 83 resident of Henryetta, will be Friday, Oct. 30 at 2 p.m. at the Church of Christ in Henryetta. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 29th from 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. for family and from 3 p.m. – 8 pm. for friends. Mrs. Broadbent was born Oct. 5, 1937 in rural McClain County to Georgia
Mrs. Broadbent was born Oct. 5, 1937 in rural McClain County to Georgia (Meriman) and James Walton Bowling. She died Friday, Oct. 23 in Tahlequah.
She married Jimmy Odell Broadbent, Sr. on July 2, 1955.
Survivors include her children, Georgiana Spearman of Enid, Pamely Harper and husband Clifton of Mangum, Jimmy (Bo) Broadbent, Jr. and wife Susan of Henryetta and Tracie Grall and husband Josh of Bentonville, Ark.; brother, George Bowling; sisters, Sue Bowling Mayfield and Judy Bowling; eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; as well as a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Christopher Harper, Josh Gurall, Justin Broadbent, Sloane Spearman, Jerry Bryant and Jim Bowling.
