Funeral services for Jeanie Polston, 80, resident of Henryetta, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 10, at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Kyle Kiner officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
Visitation was from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, at Integrity Funeral Service. Mrs. Polston was born March 6, 1939, in Henryetta to Joseph Rudolph “Rudy” Harkins and Ella Bell (Thompson) Harkins. She died Friday, April 5, in Henryetta. She married Don Polston on Nov. 9, 1957, at the First United Methodist Church in Henryetta.
Survivors include her daughter, Julie Dill of El Reno; sons, Mike Polston of Henryetta and Chip Polston of Hudson, Fla.; nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; one sister, Janet VanMeter of Henryetta; two brothers, Tom Harkins and wife Sarah of Muskogee and Don Harkins and wife Leslie of Colorado; brother-in-law, Kenny Polston and wife Jeanie of Tulsa; aunts, Doris Camp of Arizona and Lita Polston Pierce of Tulsa; nieces and nephews, Joni VanMeter, Janna VanMeter, Brent VanMeter, April Polston Barnes, and Roger Polston; as well as a host of friends and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudy and Ella Belle Harkins; her husband, Don Polston; and daughter, Jill Coleman.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Dill, Justin Dill, Chase Polston, Mike Lewis, Adam Stuckey, Nolen Matheiu, and Chris Whitlow.
