Hiram R. Ray
Funeral services for Hiram R. Ray, 78, resident of rural Tahlequah, were at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9, at Integrity Chapel where Rev. Jack Vance officiated. Interment followed at New Sonora Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service. Visitation was from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7 and 1 p.m. – 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, at Integrity Funeral Service. Mr. Ray was born Dec. 26, 1940, in Sand Point, Idaho to Ralph Ray and Nell (Langendorf). He died Saturday, Aug. 31, in Wagoner. He married Kianna Johnson on June 25, 1999 in Cain Hill, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Diana Ray of the home; one son, Danny Ray and wife Melissa of Newark, Del.; three stepsons, Shane Slane and wife Sherry of Lawrence, Kan., Wayne Slane and wife Amy of Springdale, Ark., and Cody Slane of Tahlequah; four grandchildren and four step-grandchildren; as well as a host of friends and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents.
