Kenneth Franklin Wilder

Graveside services for Kenneth Franklin Wilder, 70, resident of Henryetta, were at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, at Dustin Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.

Visitation was from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, at Integrity Funeral Service.

Mr. Wilder was born Sept. 23, 1947, in Calexico, Calif. to William Franklin Wilder and Lillie Williams Wilder. He died Wednesday, Nov. 15, in Henryetta. 

Survivors include his two brothers, William Charles Wilder of Baton Rouge, La and Richard Glen Wilder of Henryetta, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by sisters, Roberta Sue Wilder Atkinson and Armenia Jane Wilder Arment and brother, Leslie Alan Wilder.

Judy Jones

Funeral services for Judy Jones, 73, resident of Dustin, were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, at the Dustin First Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Vance, officiating. Interment followed at Dustin Cemetery under the direction of Rogers Funeral Home.

Mrs. Jones was born April 20, 1944, in Hanna to Lewis and Effie (Britt) Payne. She died Saturday, Nov. 18, in Tulsa.

She married Kenneth Jones on June 24, 1967, in Dustin.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Jones of the home; children, Stephanie Mulliniks and husband Patrick of Baconton, Ga., Christina Patchin and husband Smokey of Okmulgee, and Kenneth Jones Jr. of Dustin; grandson, Tristan Patchin of Okmulgee; and sister, Mary Shatswell and husband Earl of Henryetta.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 10 brothers and sisters.

Stella Kennedy

Funeral services for Stella Hold Kennedy, 80, resident of Henryetta, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, at the Nazarene Church with Pastor Mark Elam officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Rogers Funeral Home.

Mrs. Kennedy was born Sept. 13, 1937, in Porum to Albert and Ethel (Ritchie) Goodner. She died Sunday, Nov. 19, in Henryetta.

Survivors include her husband, Mike Kennedy; daughters, Sue Allen and husband Tony and Brenda Dodson; grandchildren, Jared Allen, Dylan Allen, Heath Allen, Luke Allen, Gina Dollins, and Jill Leffel; great grandchildren, Olive and Stella Leffel, Leyla Allen, and Henry Allen; sisters, Phyllis Elam Suiter; and brothers, Bill Goodner, Ray Goodner, Clay Goodner, and Bob Goodner.

Jeffery Michael Leach

Jeffery Michael Leach, 36, resident of Jenks, passed away Sunday, Nov. 12, at his home surrounded by his family, Jeff was born Oct. 15, 1981, in Ada to Jesse Wayne and Patricia Jo (Clifford) Leach.

Jeff graduated Henryetta High School in 2000 and joined the U.S. Army in 2003. He served overseas for 13 months during the Iraq War and was honorably discharged in Sept. 2008. Jeff then attended OSU-Okmulgee earning an Associate Degree in 2010. He worked for Diversified as a lineman. 

Jeff and Nikki Dunham were married on May 4, 2013 in Okmulgee. He loved yardwork and cutting down trees. Jeff was an avid OU Football fan. His greatest love was playing with his daughter and being with his family and friends.

Hazel Verdie Stubbs

Hazel Verdie Stubbs, 94, longtime resident of Henryetta, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 14. Hazel was born April 18, 1923, in Sasakwa to John Henry and Pearl Estelle (Chambers) Rains. She was raised by her foster parents, Clayton Ward and Rachel Inez (Horton) Hunter.

Hazel married W.R. Stubbs on Sept. 4, 1939, in Okemah. Their union was blessed with a daughter and a son, Dickie, who preceded her in death. Hazel was a wonderful wife and mother. She adored her family and loved spending time with them.

Geraldine Tippie

Graveside services for Geraldine (Hancock) Tippie, 89, longtime resident of Henryetta, will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20, at Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19, at Integrity Funeral Service.

Mrs. Tippie was born Aug. 17, 1928, in Oklahoma to J.W. “Bill” Hancock and Irma (Byrd) Hancock. She died Wednesday, Nov. 15, in Okmulgee.
Survivors include one daughter, Charlene Martin and husband Tommy of Morris; two grandchildren, Chuck Martin and wife Terri and Leslie Dodge and husband Clayton; five great grandchildren, Courtney Mordecai and husband T.J., Jeremy Gibson, Tahmarah Martin, Halee Dodge, and Alexis Dodge; five great-great grandchildren, Jadince Rahobi, Caylah Rahobi, Adeline Mordecai, Gracie Laughlin, and Nathan Mordecai; as well as a host of friends.

Ronnie Neal Thomas

Ronnie Neal “Ron” Thomas, 68, lifelong resident of Henryetta, passed away Saturday, Nov. 4, in Henryetta. Ron was born May 14, 1949, in Henryetta to David Thomas and Florene (Minyard) Thomas.

Ron married the love of his life, Lisa Smith Thomas. He was a graduate of OSU and an avid Cowboys fan.

Ron was preceded in death by his father, David Thomas and one brother, Doyle Thomas.

Ron is survived by his wife, Lisa Thomas of the home; sons, Hunter Thomas of Henryetta, Tyler Smith and wife Melesa of Henryetta, and Jeremy Smith of Los Angeles, Calif.; daughters, Rachele  Delso of Henryetta and Rebecca Thomas of Henryetta; seven grandchildren; mother, Florene Thomas of Henryetta; sisters, Gaye Newton and husband Jim of Henryetta and DaRhonda Andrews and husband Don of Henryetta; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
