Johnnie Cleo Ezell

Johnnie Cleo Ezell, 76, resident of Hitchita, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 13, in Hitchita. Johnnie was born April 27, 1941, in Boynton to Henry Patrick Ezell and Anna Gladys (Warren) Ezell.

Johnnie was a law enforcement enthusiast and loved any interaction with law enforcement. He loved his “Dr. Pepper” and chocolate every day. He loved caring for his dogs.

Johnnie was preceded in death by his parents; his aunt, Josie Warren; cousins, Chuck Dugger and Jo Vinson.

Tommy Edwin Puckett

Tommy Edwin Puckett, 76, resident of Weleetka, passed away on his home place Wednesday, Feb. 14, in rural Weleetka. Tommy was born June 26, 1941 on the home place in Weleetka to Lillard Fate Puckett and Byrdene (Staggs) Puckett.

Tommy married the love of his life, Leadean, on Aug. 14, 1961, in Eufaula. They shortly moved to Ajo, Ariz., where they lived for 10 years and both of their children were born there.

Tommy was a member of the Weleetka First Baptist Church where he was a deacon. He was a charter member of the Lions Club of Weleetka.

Tommy was an entrepreneur and owned and operated many different companies; however, ranching and working his cows was particularly a passion of his. He also had a passion for his cars. Tommy was an extraordinary mechanic. His greatest passion was his grandchildren.

James Wasson

Funeral services for James Joseph Wasson Sr., 79, resident of Henryetta, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, at the Tulledega Hills Baptist Church with Dale Huckabay officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Rogers Funeral Home.

Mr. Wasson was born April 10, 1938, in Bryant, to Dwight and Dorothy (Ayers) Wasson. He died Saturday, Feb. 10.

Survivors include his children, Pauline and Larry Crayk of Henryetta, Dorothy and Bill Dority of Ada, Dwight and Sarah Wasson of Okmulgee, James (Jim) Wasson of Lexington, and Michael Wasson of Henryetta; sister, Pat Hodge of Henryetta; and sister-in-law, Phyllis Wasson of Henryetta.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dwight and Dorothy Wasson; his wife of 60 years, Lorretta Wasson; brother, Dwight Wasson Jr.; sister, Barbara Sanford; grandson, Justin Crayk; and great grandson, Ace Harper.

Robert Dale Sullins

A memorial service for Robert Dale Sullins, 81, resident of Henryetta, will be held at a later date. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.

Mr. Sullins was born August 16, 1936, Sayre to Jesse Edward Sullins and Norma (Powers) Sullins. He died Saturday, Feb. 3, in Henryetta.

Survivors include his grandson, Yohan Dussuet of Colorado Springs, Colo. and a brother, Ray Sullins of Henryetta.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; three sons, Ricky Sullins, Russell Sullins, and Wayne Sullins; and a daughter, Cheryl Sullins.

Jilena Mae Thrailkill

Jilena Mae "Jill" (Thompson) Thrailkill, 60, a resident of Henryetta, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 6, in Morris. She was born February 21, 1957 in Hoffman to Clinton James Thompson & Cora Mae (Roberts) Thompson.

Jill was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Bill Thompson, and one sister, Linda Grogan.

Sherral D. Counts

Funeral services for Sherral Dean Counts, 76, resident of Muskogee, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, at Integrity Chapel. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.

Ms. Counts was born April 14, 1941, in Henryetta to Frank Lee Boatright and Ophelia (Watson) Boatright. She died Tuesday, Feb. 6 in Muskogee.

Survivors include two daughters, Eugenia Griffin of Colorado Springs, Col. and Samantha Henderson of Muskogee; four grandchildren, Amirah Counts of Boulder, Colo., Russell Henderson, Jr. of Wainwright, Rusty Henderson of Muskogee and Patrick Griffin of Colorado Springs, Colo.; four sisters, Dawna Chapman and husband Earl of Dewar, Metta McGee of Dewar, Floy Ray of Delaware, and Doris Boatright of Morris; one brother, Clay Boatright and wife Debbie of Dewar.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank & Ophelia Boatright.

Teresa Michelle Roberson

Funeral services for Teresa Michelle (Goodson) Roberson, 50, resident of Henryetta, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, at Integrity Chapel. Her remains will be buried at a later date at Westlawn Cemetery. Cremation and service arrangements are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.

Mrs. Roberson was born Sept. 12, 1967, in McAlester to Charles Leonard Goodson and Deborah (Shepard) Goodson Smith. She died Sunday, Feb. 4, in Henryetta.

Survivors include daughter, Brittany Hoadley and husband Scott of Broken Arrow; her mother, Deborah Smith; two sisters, Marla Byroads and companion Dave Hutchings of Henryetta and Nichole Randall and husband Justin of Henryetta; and two brothers, Sean Sanford and wife Judy of Okemah and Phillip Perez of Okemah.

Dona Rose Flanagan

Dona Rose Flanagan, 20, resident of Claremore, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Jan. 28. Dona was born Oct. 6, 1997, in Okmulgee to Ellis and Bertha Mae Goman Flanagan.

As a young girl, Dona spent the early part of her childhood n Henryetta. In 2013, at the age of 16, she and her family moved to their current home in Claremore.

Throughout her life, Dona has been a dedicated member to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was an active member at the Henryetta Ward and currently at the Claremore Ward.

Wanda Burgess

Funeral services for Wanda Burgess, 86, resident of Henryetta, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, at the Church of Christ with Walcher officiating. Interment will follow at Salt Creek Cemetery under the direction of Rogers Funeral Home.

Mrs. Burgess was born Nov. 20, 1931, in Henryetta to Daniel and Flora (Elmore) Burgess Sr. She died Friday, Jan. 26, in Henryetta.

Survivors include her brother, Dan Burgess of Henryetta; sister, Geneva Harris of Henryetta; nephews, Randy Thompson, Rick Thompson, and Robert Harris; and niece, Jennifer Mitchell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Maxine Thompson; and nephew, Danny Burgess.
