Elva Eulean Reed

Elva Eulean Reed, 86, longtime resident of Henryetta, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 13, in Tulsa. Eulean was born Dec. 17, 1930, in Henryetta to Arvel Alexander Bailey Sr. and Ethel (Woods) Bailey.
Eulean was a member of the Henryetta Church of Christ where she was very active for many years. She was a nursing home administrator in Henryetta, Pauls Valley, Muskogee, and Glenpool. Eulean enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Eulean is survived by her daughters, Kathy Brock and husband Larry of Manchester, Tenn. and Debbie Sanders of Sallisaw; sons, Jim Davis of Wister and Dennis Davis of Henryetta; nine grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at the Henryetta Church of Christ. Interment followed at Salem Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.

Saundra Darlene Nunley

Saundra Darlene (Crawford) Nunley, 68, resident of the Wilson Community, passed away surrounded by her family and friends Sunday, Sept. 17, in Wilson, after a three year battle with cancer. Saundra was born Jan. 19, 1949, in Henryetta to Paul Crawford and Verda Lee (Pippin) Crawford.
Saundra was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert “Mule” Lawson, her dad, Paul Crawford; her mom, Verdalee (Pippin) Crawford, mother-in-law, Eunice Nunley; and brother-in-law, AV Nunley.

Robbie Jo Summers

Robbie Jo (Martin) Summers, 80, longtime resident of Dewar, passed away Sunday, Sept. 17, in Eufaula. Robbie Jo was born March 2, 1937, in Red Hill to Joseph Brison and Vernia (Pierce) Brison.
Robbie Jo owned and operated a Day Care for many years and to the many children she took care of as well as kids in the community still often refer to her as “Nanny Robbie”.
Robbie Jo is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Vernia Brison; her husband, Marshall Martin; she married Charles Summers, who also preceded her in death; two sons, Larry Andrews and Darrell Andrews; one daughter, Loresa “Suzie” Foster; and by three grandchildren, Darrell Lee Franklin, Michelle Andrews, and Randall Andrews.

Phyllis Shultz

Memorial services for Phyllis Shultz, 65, resident of Prue will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, at Rogers Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Shultz was born Feb. 22, 1952, in Henryetta to Willard and Ann (Ragland) Roberts. She died Friday, Sept. 15.
She married Daniel Shultz on April 23, 1999 in Eureka Springs, Ark.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel Shultz of the home; children, Robert Guynes, Jamie Ogdon, and Rachel Huss; grandchildren, Kyle, Kaleb, Randie Lynn, Chloe, Kyler, Savannah, and Raegan; great grandchild, Luna; mother, Ann Roberts, and brothers, Bill and Jim Roberts.
She was preceded in death by her father, Willard Roberts.

Helen Snider

Funeral services for Helen Snider, 81, resident of Henryetta, were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, at the Abundant Life Church. Interment followed at Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Rogers Funeral Home.
Visitation was from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 18, at Rogers Funeral Home.
Mrs. Snider was born Oct. 25, 1935, in Salem to Benjamin and Rethel (Brown) Kaler. She died Friday, Sept. 15, in Tulsa.
She married Willard “Gene” Snider on Sept. 19, 1953, in Henryetta.
Survivors include her daughters, Brenda Thompson and husband Guy of Henryetta, Rhonda Mott and husband Darrell of Catoosa, Linda Snider Abitbol of Tulsa, and Cinda Baird and husband Tom of Catoosa; 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren; brothers, Jack Kaler and wife Sarah of Henryetta, Ted Kaler and wife Jean of Monot, N.D., and Sam Kaler and wife Barbara of Dewar; and sister, Barbra Martin of Kehrupm, Nev.

Betty Jean Mahan

Funeral services for Betty Jean Mahan, 68, resident of Dustin, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, at Faith Baptist Church in Dustin. Interment will follow at Wiley-Watson Family Cemetery in Dustin under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20, at Integrity Funeral Service.
Mrs. Mahan was born Monday, Dec. 20, 1948, in Weleetka to James Melvin Waccochee and Louise (Harjo). She died Sunday, Sept. 17, in Henryetta.
Survivors include her sons, Darrell Mahan of Dustin and Jeremy Mahan of Dustin; daughters, Debra Mahan of Dustin and Cheryl Najera of Henryetta; grandchildren, Shelly Melton, Christopher Johnson, Keith Mahan, Kyra Najera, Kenna Najera, Kelsey Mahan, and Brooklyn Mahan; 16 great grandchildren; sister, Marie Smith of Lamar; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services for Chelena Renee Orduna, 48, resident of Tulsa, will at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 25, at St. Andrew Baptist Church in Tulsa, located at 3115 N. Garrison Ave. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22, and from 12 p.m. – 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, at Integrity Funeral Service.
Ms. Orduna was born Dec. 23, 1968, in Los Angeles, Calif. to Ralph Orduna, Jr. and Cheryle (Alston). She died Saturday, Sept. 16, in Tulsa.

Funeral services for Wanda King, 81, longtime resident of Okmulgee, will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22, at Hutchechuppa Indian Baptist Church with Rev. John Tulsa officiating and Rev. Scott Harjo assisting. Interment will follow immediately at Hutchechuppa Church Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
Visitation will be from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, at Integrity Funeral Service.
A wake service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, at Hutchechuppa Indian Baptist Church.
Mrs. King was born Oct. 24, 1935, in Hanna to Robert West and Louise Kelly West. She died Monday, Sept. 18, in Okmulgee.

Stanley Ross Lee

Funeral services for Stanley Ross Lee, 78, resident of Henryetta, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at Schulter Baptist Church with Rev. Phil Barton officiating. Interment will follow at 3:30 at Stafford Cemetery, in Arapaho, under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, at Integrity Funeral Service.
Mr. Lee was born Nov. 28, 1938, in Clinton to Melvin Lee and Loyce (Stone) Lee. He died Monday, Sept. 11, in Henryetta.
Survivors include three children, Darin Price of California, Kevin Lee and wife Rebecca of Schulter, and Darby Lee and wife Jennifer of Thomas; seven grandchildren, Denver Lee, Dillon Lee, Kendall Lee, Nora Jayne Lee, Tabatha Price, Tiffany Price, and Kari Price; seven great grandchildren; one brother, Mickey Lee of Oregon; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parent; a son, Ron Price; and one brother, Ernest Lee.

Franklin M. Beaver

Funeral services for Franklin M. Beaver, 82, resident of Okemah, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at Creek Chapel in Okemah with Rev. Al Patneaude and Rev. Edwin Jimboy officiating. Interment will follow at the Jimboy Family Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
Wake services will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, at Creek Chapel in Okemah.
Mr. Beaver was born Aug. 28, 1935, in Eufaula to Lecus and Nancy Beaver. He died Monday, Sept. 11, at his home in Okemah.
He married Norma Jean Jimboy on June 18, 1960, in Lawrence, Kansas.
