Family operated business offers full menu

Henryettans have a new choice in authentic Mexican cuisine.

After nearly four months of remodeling, including painting and updating kitchen equipment, Emilio Mexican Restaurant welcomed the Henryetta and area community members with open doors on May 19.

The restaurant is in the former Pig Out Palace/Cowboy Corner location at 10029 Old U.S. Hwy. 62 in Henryetta.

According to Emilio owner, Michelle Boyd, in addition to the regular seating area, the restaurant offers a smoking room with a TV, a private banquet or meeting room, cold air conditioning and friendly faces. The private banquet/meeting room has to be reserved in advance to use.

Emilio employes around 10 employees, comprised mostly of family members, who all look forward to meeting the Henryetta area community.

In addition to authentic (and delicious) Mexican cuisine, Emilio also serves cold beer, homemade cheese dip (queso) and homemade salsa as well as a unique menu for breakfast.

“We are excited to serve Henryetta and the surrounding area with friendly faces, fast service and great food!” Boyd said.

Hours of operation for the business are Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Different specials are offered daily for lunch and for dinner.
