Officials reschedule jail inspection

The Okmulgee County Commissioners covered a short agenda during Monday’s regular meeting.

The panel was scheduled to hold a jail inspection, but it has been rescheduled due to the ICE/OCCJA holding the announcement of the new partnership for the 287(g) program.

During the regular meeting, the commissioners also took no action on a burn ban for the county.

Agenda items discussed and approved were:
•Blanket Purchase Agreement - S&H Auto Care, $300, District 1; Scents Plus, District 1, $37
•Utility Permits  - Oklahoma Natural Gas in District 1 on N. 256 Road.
•324A Claim for Bixby Road Project for reimbursement, $22,925.00 (right of way acqusiition and legal fees)
•Stacy Oglesby of 911 Center donating 56 hours of leave to Emeril Napier.
•Claim - Rex Jones Plumbing, work at the jail annex, $22,233.
