‘Annie’ to hit stage soon

H-Town Theatre prepares to raise the curtain on its 2026 musical production of Annie, promising four performances, a festive Valentine’s Weekend atmosphere and a full community effort behind the scenes.

The Henryetta High School production will take place Friday through Sunday, Feb. 13-15, offering audiences multiple chances to enjoy the classic musical known for its timeless songs, energetic choreography and heartwarming message.

Opening night is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 13, at 7:30 p.m., followed by a Saturday matinee at 2 p.m. and an evening performance at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 14. The production concludes with a Sunday matinee on Feb. 15 at 2 p.m.

Tickets for individual performances are $15 for adults and $10 for students. In addition, H-Town Theatre is offering an allshow pass that includes admission to all four performances for $40 for adults and $20 for students, giving families and theatre supporters added flexibility throughout the weekend.

Reserved seating will also be available for $10 per seat, per show. Requests and payment for reserved seating must be turned in by Friday, Feb. 6.

Pre-sale tickets and reserved seating options go on sale Friday, Jan. 23, and will be available through Friday, Feb. 6. Tickets may be purchased through any cast member or by contacting Coach Justin Been. Tickets will also be available at the door on performance nights, with cash-only sales.

With opening weekend now just a month away, excitement continues to build among students, families and local theatre supporters.

“Who is ready for H-Town Theatre’s production of Annie?” organizers shared in a recent announcement. “Please make plans to catch this show.”

Behind the scenes, preparations are well underway, and organizers are also reaching out to the business community for support. Local businesses are invited to advertise in the production and help sponsor the show, with the advertising deadline set for Friday, Jan. 30.

According to organizers, financial support from local businesses helps cover the many costs involved in staging a high-quality production, including set construction, costumes, props, cast meals and technical needs.

“Our deadline for you to advertise and support our 2026 musical Annie is this coming Friday,” organizers said. “Your financial support helps us pay for set construction, costumes, props, cast meals and all the other costs involved in bringing you the quality production you expect from H-Town Theatre. Thank you for partnering with us.”

Businesses interested in advertising or sponsorship opportunities are encouraged to contact Coach Justin Been at jbeen@henryetta.k12.ok.us.

The annual H-Town Theatre musical has become a staple of the Henryetta community, showcasing student talent while bringing families together for an evening, or weekend, of live entertainment. With performances scheduled across Valentine’s Weekend, organizers say Annie offers a fun and meaningful way for residents to celebrate the holiday while supporting local students and the arts.

Additional ticket information and purchasing details are expected to be released in the coming weeks as opening night approaches.

For now, organizers encourage the community to mark their calendars and make plans to attend one – or all – of the performances.

The Henryetta Knight Brigade, in partnership with the Henryetta Band Boosters, will host Annie’s (Pre-Musical) Valentine Dinner on Saturday, Feb. 14, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the HHS Cafeteria.

The dinner is designed as a pre-show celebration leading into the school’s production of Annie, offering families, couples and community members a festive way to spend Valentine’s Day while supporting Henryetta’s student musicians and performers.

According to organizers, additional details – including menu information and ticket pricing – will be released at a later date. Pre-sale ticket information is expected to be announced soon, and attendees are encouraged to watch for updates.

The event is being coordinated by Shanna Tyler, Event Coordinator, with Amanda Gahm, President of the Henryetta Band Boosters, helping lead the effort.

Organizers say the Valentine Dinner will combine a warm, family- friendly atmosphere with community support for the arts, making it an ideal way to celebrate both the holiday and local student talent.
