Local author William Lehmkuhl has transformed his personal journey of pain, perseverance and transformation into a published book, and now the community will have the chance to meet him. Lehmkuhl is set to hold an official book signing event for his debut memoir, “GUILTY: The Story They Never Told,” on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the Henryetta Library.

Released through Amazon, the book takes readers deep into Lehmkuhl’s experiences. It chronicles a difficult childhood marked by family struggles and loss, navigates the challenges of incarceration and ultimately reveals the lessons that reshaped his life. Written with honesty and raw emotion, “GUILTY” exposes the realities of choices, consequences, and redemption in a way that readers have described as both “personal” and “inspirational.”

“My story isn’t just about what I went through, it’s about what people can overcome,” Lehmkuhl stated. “We’ve all made mistakes. We’ve all felt misunderstood. But you don’t have to let your past define you. I want my readers to see that transformation is possible, no matter how far you’ve fallen.”

The signing will provide attendees with an opportunity to meet the author, purchase signed copies of the book and hear firsthand about the powerful message behind his writing.
