Debut author Kendra Thompson, a native of Henryetta and graduate of Graham High School, was joined by family, friends and community on June 28 for her first book signing. “The Harmony of Circumstance” is a heartfelt exploration of human connection, neurodivergence and the invisible threads that tie lives together. Set in familiar spaces like grocery stores and laundromats, the book invites readers to slow down and witness the sacredness of everyday encounters. Attendees were able to meet Thompson, share conversation, cookies and punch and have their copy signed. As a special treat, those stopping by were able to try out the Margarite Lime Sugar Cookies, which character Violet created in the novel.
