Beggs 6U teams dominate tournaments in Henryetta

Two youth teams from Beggs delivered dominant performances last weekend, capturing championship titles at the 6U North Division Tournament held in Henryetta. The Beggs Diamond Demons and Beggs Demon Dingers each secured victories in their respective divisions, putting a spotlight on the town’s thriving youth sports programs.

— Beggs Diamond Demons capture 6U Tri-County Youth Softball championship The Beggs Diamond Demons showcased strong teamwork and determination throughout the tournament, earning the title of 6U Tri-County Youth Softball Champions. Competing against tough op- ponents, the team remained focused and cohesive on both sides of the ball.

The roster includes Bristol King, Gentry Harvey, Milani Roach, Gentry Cranfield, Savannah Crosby, Reagan Buttram, Koltyn Baldridge, Livia Grimmett, Makenna Kelly, Marcy Morris, Janie Yates, Brandi Timmons, Kizzie Fletcher, Scarlet Yates, Elayna Spring and Cora Remington. The team is coached by Kaitlyn Harvey.

— Demon Dingers secure 6U North Division baseball title On the baseball side, the Beggs Demon Dingers made a statement with their performance, powering through the bracket to claim the 6U North Division Championship. With solid hitting, defense and energy throughout the tournament, the team earned their place at the top.

Team members include Levi Coday, Rhett Jenkins, Wyatt Cantrell, Ford Wolf, Trick Cantrell, Nate Grimmett, Cash Dowdy, Noah Grimmett, Lakendrick Demry, Avery James, Lincoln Grimmett, Titus Taylor, Jack Wittman and coaches Trevor Dowdy, Nick Grimmett, Zack Grimmett and Kyle Wittman.

-With championship wins on both the softball and baseball fields, Beggs proudly celebrates the hard work and spirit of its young athletes. Families, friends and fans packed the stands in Henryetta, cheering the teams on throughout the tournament.

Congratulations to the Beggs Diamond Demons and Demon Dingers on their championship victories.
