Star-studded lineup set for Muscogee Nation Festival

The Muscogee Nation Festival is gearing up to deliver an unforgettable weekend of music, culture and celebration at the Claude Cox Omniplex in Okmulgee. With a powerhouse lineup of musical talent, this year’s entertainment is expected to draw thousands from across the region for an experience that is entirely free to attend.

The Festival will feature live performances from nationally renowned artists on Friday, June 27, and Saturday, June 28, capped with a Saturday night fashion show and a spectacular fireworks display.

— Friday Night – June 27

Kicking off the weekend’s entertainment will be Stoney LaRue, a Texas/Oklahoma Red Dirt country favorite, who will take the stage at 7 p.m. as Friday’s opener. Known for his soulful voice and gritty storytelling, LaRue is sure to set the tone for a night of high-energy performances.

Following LaRue, Ashley Mc-Bryde, a Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter, will

SEE MUSCOGEE NATION FESTIVAL, PAGE A7 headline the night at 9 p.m. Mc-Bryde has built a devoted following with her raw vocals and honest lyrics, earning critical acclaim and multiple award nominations for her breakthrough album Girl Going Nowhere. Fans can expect a dynamic performance as she brings her heartfelt anthems to the Okmulgee stage.

— Saturday Night – June 28

The entertainment continues Saturday with rising country artist Lance Gouge opening the evening’s performances at 7 p.m. Gouge’s authentic sound and growing fan base make him a standout addition to the lineup and a crowd-pleaser for fans of new country music.

At 9 p.m., the legendary Marshall Tucker Band will headline Saturday night. With a musical career spanning over five decades, the group is best known for classic hits like “Can’t You See” and “Heard It in a Love Song.” Their unique blend of Southern rock, country and jazz will bring a nostalgic and energetic close to the evening.

— Bonus Events – Fashion & Fireworks The festivities won’t stop with the music. Following the Saturday headliner, attendees can enjoy a fashion show, showcasing Native creativity and style, immediately after The Marshall Tucker Band’s performance. The evening will then conclude with a dazzling fireworks display, lighting up the Okmulgee sky in celebration of Muscogee Nation pride and heritage.

– With free admission, family- friendly attractions, and a lineup featuring both modern icons and classic rock legends, the 2025 Muscogee Nation Festival promises to be one of the biggest and most exciting events of the summer. Community members and visitors alike are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets and join in the celebration of Native culture, music and community.
