As Henryetta Public Schools approaches the final days of the 2024-25 academic year, Superintendent Jason Price offered words of reflection and encouragement to students, staff and the community.
In his May Superintendent Vision message, Price acknowledged the hectic pace of year-end activities but emphasized the importance of taking moments to pause, reflect and appreciate the progress that has been made.
-“MAYhem is in full force as students, parents and educators lean in towards the finish line of the 24-25 school year! With the many different events occurring, it is a whirlwind of nonstop activities that can cause all involved to dream of one day, one moment, one second of recovery and rest. Knowing that time doesn’t stop as the calendar continues to turn, it is important that we all make it a point to pause for a moment for reflection, even during the busy times we face. We do this to remember where we were and where we are now. When we do this, it provides an appreciation for the endurance that was given and a respect for the journey we have traveled.
During my time thus far at Henryetta, I clearly remember the beginning stages of joining the district and the accomplishments we have now made during the 24-25 school year. Still yet, there is much to be done. However, I am well aware of all who have sacrificed to make HPS a place of momentum. A place where we put our dreams into action by working hard and producing an exciting reality. A place that has achieved much, but has much potential for more to be accomplished.
As we enter the final days of the 24-25 school year, I challenge you to take a few moments to reflect on the achievements that have occurred recently. A time of reflection is a reminder of blessings that have been received and a clear focus of the promises that are soon to come. Yes, MAYhem is in full force, but all the events we are involved in provide a reminder of accomplishments that have been obtained. Celebrate what has been done, rest in the success that is deserved, and then gather yourself for future dreams to come true by continuing to support HPS at the highest level.
Go Knights! Professionally, Jason Price, Henryetta Superintendent – The message serves as both a celebration of the district’s successes this year and an encouragement for continued community support as Henryetta Public Schools looks toward the future.
