William Lin Paterson (better known as Bill), was born on March 8, 1956, in Okmulgee to Robert and Lucy Paterson. He died April 2, 2025.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church, with Rev. Johnny Wagner and Rev. Gus Cosby officiating. Interment will follow at Okmulgee Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
