December 30, 1936 – April 2, 2025

John L. Wright, age 88, of Okmulgee, passed way Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Highland Park Manor in Okmulgee. He was born on December 30, 1936, to William and Stella (Scott) Wright in Stroud.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 11, at Second Baptist Church, with Pastor Adam Heitt officiating.

Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee. Memories, condolences, photos and videos may be shared with the family on John’s Tribute Page of at www.mcclendon- winters.com.
