The Henryetta City Council has scheduled a special meeting for Monday, April 14, at 12 noon. The meeting will take place at the Henryetta Civic Center, located at 115 S. 4th Street.

According to the official agenda, the meeting will begin with a roll call followed by the administration of the oath of office to newly elected or appointed council members Jennifer Munholland and Shawn Buzan.

Following the swearing-in, the Council will proceed with two key items: the election of a mayor and the election of a vice-mayor. Both positions are selected by the council members from among their ranks and will determine who will lead the council in the coming term.

The meeting is expected to be brief, with adjournment set as the final item on the agenda.

The special meeting is open to the public in accordance with the Oklahoma Open Meeting Act.
