The Henryetta Lady Knights split a pair of games against the county rival Morris Lady Eagles and Preston Lady Pirates. Below is a recap on this week’s action:
Game 1: Henryetta 19, Morris 2
Allie Davis put on a show, launching two home runs and collecting three RBIs to lead the Lady Knights past the Morris Lady Eagles in a 19-2 rout.
Henryetta scored five in the first inning and added runs in every frame. Davis’s first homer came in the second, followed by another two-run shot in the fifth. Ailanee Hicks added a two-run homer of her own in the fifth, capping an eight-run inning. Kelsey Brandt, Khloe Coates and Jayleigh Easter also drove in runs as the Lady Knights tallied 17 hits.
Keegan Hamric went the distance in the circle, allowing just four hits and two unearned runs over five innings.

Despite a strong start, the Lady Knights couldn’t recover from a rough first inning that saw Preston put up nine runs en route to a 16-5 win on Tuesday.
Henryetta opened the scoring in the first with RBIs from Keegan Hamric and Hailey Lewis. But Preston stormed back with six hits in the bottom half, including a three-run homer by Taylan Starr. The Lady Pirates added seven more in the fourth, including a three-run blast by Na’Braijhanae Phillips.
The Lady Knights had a bright spot in Allie Davis, who went a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate. Hailey Lewis drove in two runs, while Hicks and Rex also contributed with multi-hit performances.
