Ag Boosters to host pie & silent auction
By KEIRA SWAYZE OKMULGEE FFA REPORTER,

Delicious desserts, shiny wrapped gift baskets, a tasty BBQ meal and supporting a great cause – sounds like it is time for the 7th annual Okmulgee Ag Boosters Pie & Silent Auction on Feb. 20, 2025. The annual pie & silent auction raises funds to support Okmulgee FFA chapter members to attend events like the Oklahoma State FFA Convention, Alumni Leadership Camp and Washington Leadership Conference – as well as support members to launch their supervised agricultural experiences and purchase FFA jackets. The auction will be held in the Okmulgee High School Cafeteria at 415 W. 3rd Street.

Donations of pies/ desserts and silent auction items are welcome. Businesses/organizations that would like to purchase a tabletop sponsorship package for $100 for a logo table tent or $250 for a corporate table and banquet advertisement package can contact Mr. Taylor at ttaylor@okmulgeeps. com or 918-758-2075 extension 3127.

“Community members are encouraged to attend and participate in the silent and live auctions,” Okmulgee FFA advisor Tim Taylor said. “This event is the only fundraiser for Okmulgee Ag Boosters and their work throughout the year touches every single Okmulgee FFA member through sponsoring our chapter banquet meal, state convention travel and SAE grants. Thank you in advance for your continued support.”

More information about the Okmulgee Agricultural Education Program and the Okmulgee FFA chapter can be found on the FFA chapter’s Facebook (facebook.com/okmulgeeffa) or Instagram pages (@OkmulgeeFFA).
