First-half of property tax due

The Okmulgee County Treasurer’s Office has extended the deadline for first-half 2024 property tax payments to Jan. 10, 2025. Second-half payments remain due by March 31, 2025.

Property tax statements are available online for payment, which can be made online, by mail or in person at the Treasurer’s Office. A 3% convenience fee will apply to debit or credit card payments.

Residents are reminded that any fees or publication costs included in their statements cannot be waived after payment is made.

Key deadlines include:

• Dec. 31, 2024: First-half payment deadline to avoid penalties.

• Jan. 1, 2025: Full payment, with penalties, required for unpaid accounts.

• March 31, 2025: Deadline for second-half payments.
