Wilson Tigers to play in Tourn. of Champions

The Wilson Tigers, last year’s Class B State Basketball Champions, have been invited to play in the annual Tournament of Champions at the BOK Center from Dec. 26-28.

The Tournament of Champions is hosted by Tulsa Public Schools.

“It’s got defending state champs, current #1 teams, contenders for this year’s state titles, nationally-rated talent … and so much more,” a post stated. “You don’t want to miss it.”

All 24 games will be livestreamed for free on Skordle and WWLS The Sports Animal platforms.

Meanwhile, the Lady Tigers under Coach Rikki Wolfe hold a 3-0 record as they compete this week in the Wilson Tiger Classic Tournament. Earlier this week, they defeated Gans 70-27. They were set to meet Riverfield yesterday evening, and a win will put them in the winner’s brack on Saturday afternoon.
