Morris students participate in area archery exhibition
Archery, often called the “art of the bow,” has fascinated and challenged humankind for thousands of years. This ancient sport demands precision, concentration, and practice to master the skill of shooting arrows at specific targets. For students across Oklahoma, it has become a source of excitement, camaraderie, and competition. This past weekend, on Nov. 8 and 9, the Veterans Day Archery Tournament held at the Pryor High School Gymnasium welcomed around 800 archers from schools all across Oklahoma to showcase their growing skills, competing and celebrating the art of archery in a lively exhibition.
