GCTC’s SkillsUSA State Officer attends WLTI
By ANTHONY NIETO GCTC MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR,

Green Country Technology Center (GCTC) is proud to announce that Jase Flud, GCTC’s SkillsUSA State Officer and Parliamentarian, is attended the prestigious Washington Leadership Training Institute (WLTI) in Washington, D.C. from Sept. 21-25. The annual conference offers students and advisors from across the country the unique opportunity to advocate for skilled trades while receiving advanced leadership training.

“Jase’s participation in WLTI is a testament to his dedication and commitment to representing GCTC and Oklahoma’s skilled trades,” said Anthony Nieto, Marketing & Communications Coordinator at GCTC. “We are incredibly proud to see him take on this leadership role at the national level. It’s not just an opportunity for Jase but also a chance for our community to be represented on such an important stage.”

During the week-long conference, Jase will engage in a series of workshops, networking events, and meetings with elected officials to discuss the importance of career and technical education. His role as Parliamentarian highlights his commitment to leadership and service, both within SkillsUSA and beyond.

“We are confident that Jase will make the most of this experience and bring back valuable insights to share with our students and staff,” added Nieto. “He’s a shining example of what our students can achieve with hard work and dedication.”

GCTC wishes Jase the best of luck at WLTI and looks forward to seeing the impact of his advocacy efforts for the skilled trades industry.
