On Monday, family, friends, and colleagues of Undersheriff Fred McGuire gathered at the courthouse for his retirement reception. A slideshow flickered through McGuire’s more than 30 years of law enforcement service as those around him presented gifts, gave thanks, and shared their memories. McGuire served as undersheriff with Sheriff Eddy Rice for over 18 years.
