Henryetta School board to meet Monday

The Henryetta Board of Education will meet for their regular board meeting on June 12, at 6:30 p.m at the Board of Education office. Here are the agenda items: Discussion with possible action on:

•Worker’s Compensation Insurance with Oklahoma School Assurance Group (OSAG)

•Property and Casualty Insurance Coverages with Oklahoma School Insurance Group.

•Sharing of data and benefits of having a therapy dog on campus.

•A full-time therapy dog for Henryetta Public School’s campus for the 2023-24 school year.

•Encumbrances and financial reports for the 2022-23 school year

•Choosing new investment fund with BOKF, NA Vote to Approve or Not Approve: •The minutes of the Regular Meeting on May 8, and the Special Meetings on May 16, 25, and 31.

•Acknowledgement that Ronnie Pacton and Gary Greenfield will be paid with the prevailing wage requirements for maintenance services (building and repairing) when paid with federal monies/ David Bacon Act.

•Fundraisers for the 2022-23 and 2023-24 school year.

•The New Sub Account for the junior class of 2025.

•A Renewal agreement with The Center for Education Law for the 2023-24 school year.

•Henryetta Public Schools Transportation FMCSA Policy for the 2023-24 school year.

•Adjunct Teacher Scott Wilde for the 2023-24 school year.

•Adjunct teachers for elementary education, Mataya Hares, Morgan Lee, Jenna McGill for the 2023-24 school year.

•Excessive accrued activity absences for the 2022-2023 school year

•The resignation letter from Andrea Dawson.

•Vote to go into Executive Session to discuss the hiring of 4 different positions for the 202324 school year, followed by a vote in open session to employ or not employ.
