‘Friday Focus’

Chamber to spotlight members, business

As a way to highlight local businesses that are members, the Henryetta Chamber presents Friday Focus.

According to Executive Director Genny Mooney, the vision is to have a different Chamber member host the Friday Focus in their place of business on the last Friday of each month.

The member can pick the time that works for them, such as Friday morning at 8 a.m. and they provide coffee, juice or water and donuts, or if they prefer in the afternoon, the business would provide things such as tea, soda and water and cookies or cupcakes at 3 p.m.

Mooney stated the possibilities are endless and times can be whatever the business owner chooses.

Attendees would be able to walk through the participating business and tell about any new plans they have, what their business is about or any changes they have made.

“This will increase awareness of their business, increase foot traffic to their business and open opportunities to make new contacts in both other business owners and potential new customers,” Mooney stated.

Each month will be a new host and a new opportunity to spread the word about what great businesses Henryetta has to offer.

“We will schedule first come, first served,” Mooney stated. “This is open to ALL Chamber Members (on and off Main Street) so we are looking for our first volunteers now.”

Mooney will coordinate a new business spotlight on the Henryetta Chambers social media to talk about the business that is hosting that month.

If there is a lot of interest, additional days could be added.

If you are interested and want more information, or if you want to be the first one on the schedule, call Mooney at 918-652-3331 or stop by the Chamber Office at 415 W. Main Street.
