The Okmulgee County Republicans will hold their monthly meeting Tuesday, March 14, at the American Legion, 730 W. 6th St. in Okmulgee, at 6:30 p.m., with the business meeting for registered Republicans beginning at 6 p.m. This month’s meeting will cover Oklahoma legislation. Attendees will learn how a bill moves through the legislature, along with how to read beyond the description to understand what’s really in the bill and potential consequences. A review and discussion of a few key bills will be presented this session.
