City Attorney R. B. F. Hummer, who is in the east spending his vacation, sends Mayor Hawes a card, mailed at some point way up in the Adirondacks of New York. Before he left, the mayor put a box of cigars in Mr. Hummer's car and on the wrapper he had written: “Don’t worry. Have a good time and be very particular about the stories you tell as to the size of fish you catch.” On the card received from Mr. Hummer today he wrote: “I have caught one very small fish.”
