Local artist and Henryetta resident, Eddy Thomas, recently painted a plethora of rocks she acquired from New Mexico to commemorate the upcoming Highway to Henryetta event. This morning, Wednesday, she plans to hide them in various businesses along Main Street in Henryetta. She hopes residents and visitors will enjoy them as a keepsake to remember Highway to Henryetta. On one side of each rock, there will be a random painting and on the other side the words “Highway to Henryetta.” If you find one of the rocks, be sure and take a picture with it and email it, along with your name and the city you reside to the Free-Lance at tracy@cookson.news.
