Volunteers needed to place flags

Henryetta VFW Post 539 is seeking assistance from the community and organizations to place flags at Westlawn and seven other area cemeteries for Memorial Day. There are over 2,500 flags that need to be placed, Post 539 Vice Commander Hugh “Rooster” Jackson announced. Plans are for volunteers to meet at Westlawn in Henryetta this Saturday, May 23 at 10 a.m. to begin placing flags. VFW will supply all the flags.
