COVID-19 disrupts county teams’ journeys
The Oklahoma Secondary School Activities (OSSAA) Board of Directors unanimously approved OSSAA Executive Director David Jackson’s recommendation to cancel the 2020 Spring Sports season and the State Basketball Tournaments. Summer activities are also in question with Jackson and board members set to reevaluate the situation according to CDC recommendations. OSSAA suspended games for golf, track, slow pitch, baseball and tennis on March 16 when the State Board of Education voted to close schools until April 6.
